Mercury™ and Mercury+™ Small Form Factor IC OCXO
Our small footprint OCXOs are based on our leading proprietary Mercury™ and Mercury+™ technology. They deliver excellent frequency stability over temperature. The MercuryX™ is Rakon’s first OCXO incorporating its proprietary Mercury™ ASIC and XMEMS® resonator technologies, enhancing stability and holdover performance. The ROM1490X as an example, achieves ±1.5 ppb frequency stability over -40°C to +95°C, with an 8-hour holdover and frequency ageing of ±0.2 ppb/day.
This highly integrated, ASIC based OCXO design has a minimal number of interconnections resulting in significantly enhanced reliability and therefore lowering Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of the equipment.
Applications: Data centre synchronisation, 5G base stations and small cells, 5G Advanced, 6G radio access networks (RAN), network timing, Stratum 3E synchronisation (IEEE1588, SyncE), 5G RRHs, optical networks and microwave transmission systems.
