Rakon Confirms Buyout of Centum Rakon India

Rakon Limited (NZX: RAK) today confirmed it will take full control of the Centum Rakon India joint venture operations following the signing of an agreement for the buyout of its 51% partner Centum Electronics Limited. Centum Rakon India manufactures high-performance frequency control products primarily for the telecommunications market, most of which are sold through Rakon’s French subsidiary to telecom network and equipment manufacturers.
Rakon Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Brent Robinson said bringing Centum Rakon India under Rakon’s full control is an exciting strategic decision.
Rakon Confirms Sale of France Property

Rakon today announces the sale of its Argenteuil, France property for a total consideration of EUR 2.7 million, before costs.
Argenteuil had previously been the main operational site for the manufacture of discrete OCXOs, which in recent years has shifted to Centum Rakon India. The property sale has been achieved following a lengthy re-zoning process.
Rakon releases a 5 x 3.2 mm Hermetically Sealed SMD XO for Aeronautics and High Reliability Applications
Rakon has released the RXO5032AD, its cost-effective and smallest XO for aeronautics and high reliability applications. A custom option of RXO5032AD is also available with optional screening following the guidelines of MIL-PRF-55310 level B.
The RXO5032AD is Rakon’s solution to meet the market demand for high performance Commercially Off The Shelf (COTS) XOs.
Rakon releases the radiation tolerant COTS XO RK105 and VCXO RK205
In order to respond to the growing needs of the New Space market (Low Earth Orbit satellites with a short mission lifetime), Rakon has recently released a radiation tolerant XO and a radiation tolerant VCXO, both based on a COTS (Commercially Off The Shelf) design.
They have been designed for missions requiring radiation tolerance at a reasonable cost and with a short lead-time: TID (Total Ionizing Dose) spec is 72 or 100 kRad (for CMOS) and Single Event Latch-up is guaranteed up to 32.4 or 62 MeV (for LVPECL).
