Rakon’s RXT2520AT enables the high performance required in specific GPS and cellular communications- as an alternative to a TCXO. The technology incorporates a thermistor with a traditional quartz crystal. The combination of Rakon’s GPS grade crystal manufacturing technology, coupled with Rakon’s ability to perform high resolution frequency vs. temperature testing in mass production; delivers performance unmatched in the industry.
The RXT2520AT is comprised of a 2.5 x 2.0 mm high performing AT cut crystal with a thermistor for temperature sensing in a single ceramic package. The package is specifically designed to achieve the required thermal coupling between the thermistor and the quartz crystal. The RXT2520AT offers significant reduction in board space and is manufactured to specified temperature characteristics. Available in frequencies from 19.2 MHz to 52 MHz over operating temperature ranges of -30 to 85°C and -40 to 105°C.
Now in mass production, the RXT2520AT has been designed into chipsets for wireless devices such as smart phones and tablet PCs, as well as automotive and communication applications.
