TCXOs Now with Superior Phase Noise and g-sensitivity Performance
Rakon’s fully integrated RTX-A TCXOs are now available with a g-sensitivity option. The RTX-A ‘G’ uses Rakon’s patented RGX technology, enabling the TCXO to perform with enhanced g-sensitivity performance in challenging environments.
GPS Crystal with unmatched performance
12 January 2012: Rakon, the leaders in frequency control, have addressed the cost vs. performance requirements in the growing consumer GPS market. Rakon’s RXT2520AT enables the high performance required in specific GPS and cellular communications- as an alternative to a TCXO. The technology incorporates a thermistor with a traditional quartz crystal. The combination of Rakon’s GPS grade crystal manufacturing technology, coupled with Rakon’s ability to perform high resolution frequency vs. temperature testing in mass production; delivers performance unmatched in the industry.
Low noise, frequency selectable XOs and VCXOs
12 January 2012: Rakon has launched a new family of low noise, frequency selectable XO (RXO7050Q) and VCXO (RVX7050Q) products in industry standard 7 mm x 5 mm surface mount packages. The frequency select pins are used to select the output frequency from any combination of two or four pre-configured frequencies. The selectable capability increases design flexibility and reduces part count, to generate significant cost savings.
High shock crystals for rugged environments
16 August 2011: Rakon's RGX series uses proprietary technology enabling the crystal to withstand acceleration of up to 30,000 g with minimal parameter change. The patented design ensures excellent shock survivability and vibration performance and g-sensitivity as low as 0.2ppb/g. The RGX is available in a 6.0 x 3.5 mm package and samples are now available for 5.0 x 3.2 mm footprints.
