Rakon introduces VCSOs with high frequency and low phase noise performance
Rakon has launched a new product family, expanding its broad product offering further. The ‘RSV’ Voltage Controlled SAW Oscillator (VCSO) family, uniquely positions Rakon SAW technology in the market. The family’s advanced Surface Acoustic Wave technology enables the ultimate in performance for low voltage applications which require excellent phase noise performance at very high frequencies.
The RSV2522 series is ideal for the latest generation of high speed converters, which require a high frequency clock with low jitter. The RSV2522-800, RSV2522-1000, RSV2522-1600 and RSV2522-2000 generate frequencies of 800MHz, 1GHz, 1.6GHz and 2GHz respectively.
Rakon releases High Reliability Space Crystals with Superior Performance
Rakon has announced the release of two new Space grade crystal resonators – extending its range of high reliability Space solutions even further. The RHX3500 and RHX3700 are designed, fully manufactured and tested following the guidelines of MIL-PRF-3098.
Rakon releases a 5 x 3.2 mm Hermetically Sealed SMD XO for Aeronautics and High Reliability Applications
Rakon has released the RXO5032AD, its cost-effective and smallest XO for aeronautics and high reliability applications. A custom option of RXO5032AD is also available with optional screening following the guidelines of MIL-PRF-55310 level B.
The RXO5032AD is Rakon’s solution to meet the market demand for high performance Commercially Off The Shelf (COTS) XOs.
Rakon releases the radiation tolerant COTS XO RK105 and VCXO RK205
In order to respond to the growing needs of the New Space market (Low Earth Orbit satellites with a short mission lifetime), Rakon has recently released a radiation tolerant XO and a radiation tolerant VCXO, both based on a COTS (Commercially Off The Shelf) design.
They have been designed for missions requiring radiation tolerance at a reasonable cost and with a short lead-time: TID (Total Ionizing Dose) spec is 72 or 100 kRad (for CMOS) and Single Event Latch-up is guaranteed up to 32.4 or 62 MeV (for LVPECL).
